Comparison of Hybrid Localization Methods Using Images and Wi-Fi Signals

Indoor localization is important for many applications, such as navigation, movement tracking, geotagging, and augmented reality. Most studies have used either Wi-Fi or image signals to determine the user’s location. However, each method has advantages disadvantages. In this study, we propose a hybrid system combining of Wi-Fi- image-based methods. The calculated based on best four outputs system. was evaluated by comparing accuracy unit errors image-based, Wi-Fi-based, (image + Wi-Fi), (Wi-Fi image) results showed accuracies 77.2%, 49.5%, 73.1%, 81.6% in methods, respectively. lowest error highest methods compared. addition, shows error, while Wi-Fi-based accuracy. robot tests prove that proposed can achieve excellent performance indoor localization. uses both processing fingerprinting location mobile device creating two-phase framework, which help improve
